Dressmaker's Carbon Paper: 23 x 28cm

INSTRUCTIONS:

• Use a colour sheet to contrast with fabric colour so marks are visible. Place the carbon side of the sheet face down on the wrong side of the fabric under the paper pattern. Using  tracing wheel, follow the pattern markings to transfer them to the fabric.
• Use with a tracing wheel such as 285.W a serrated edged wheel which leaves small light dots or 286, a smooth wheel to leave fine lines.
• Dressmakers Carbon Paper available in packs of 5 sheets 28 x 23cm or 5 sheets of 69 x 28cm sheets.

TIPS:

• The coloured sheets are layered with tissue paper to protect the colours.
• Always make marks on the reverse of the fabric and check on a scrap first to test for application (marks made are permanent).
• Use to transfer markings from pattern tissue to fabric such as darts, pocket and zip placement.
