3mm Scrim Foam Fabric in Grey

Grey 3mm scrim foam fabric combines a soft foam layer with a durable scrim backing, creating a fabric that is both comfortable and easy to work with. The scrim layer keeps the foam stable while cutting and fitting, so edges stay neat and the material does not tear or fray. Commonly used for automotive headliners, seat padding and general trim work, this fabric also suits a wide range of upholstery projects, from restoring classic vehicles to building custom cushions and padded panels around the home.

Whether you are an experienced upholsterer or tackling your first DIY project, this scrim foam fabric offers a forgiving, easy to handle material that holds its structure well under fitting and stapling. Its 150cm width and grey colourway make it a practical option for larger panels and repeat projects, reducing seams and offcuts. From reupholstering seating to adding soft structure beneath fabric covers, it delivers a smooth, professional finish, making it a dependable addition to any workshop or craft space.

The generous 150cm width reduces joins on larger projects, and the neutral grey colourway sits well under most outer fabrics. Because it is sold by the metre, you can order exactly what your project needs without unnecessary waste.
